GraduateCenterLMU Workshop for Doctoral Candidates of EUGLOH Universities

The workshop on Good Scientific Practice provides information on key facts and concepts. It addresses general questions about the specificity of scientific work, the importance of values and norms. Questionable behaviour and conflicts of interest are addressed. Dilemmas are presented on the different topics and decision options are discussed in group discussions to encourage critical thinking and responsible decision making. Various aspects of Open Science round off the workshop.

Participants of the workshop will be invited to join the event "Responsible Research 2024" for next generation researchers on July 25, 2024 in Biomedical Center, Planegg.

Application deadline: June 6, 2024; for LMU applicants extended until July 15, 2024

Notification of acceptance: latest June 17, 2024; for LMU applicants latest July 18, 2024

Requirements: To be eligible participants from Universities other than LMU must upload an official document confirming their status as a doctoral candidate within the EUGLOH Alliance when registering. The document is to be uploaded in the user account (choose: Faculty - "EUGLOH University").

Language of workshop: English

Target group: Doctoral candidates from EUGLOH Universities; preferably from the Life Sciences (the number of participants is limited)

Certificate of attendance: Participants will receive a certificate of attendance from the GraduateCenterLMU.
