We are looking for a pharmacist as PhD student (TV-L E14 50%) for the following project starting 01.06.2025:

„Einfluss eines supportive care Pharmacist Consultation Service (scPCS) auf die Arzneimitteltherapiesicherheit in Form von Leitlinienadhärenz, Symptomlast, Medikationsfehlern und Patientenadhärenz sowie Kosteneffektivität bei der supportiven Therapie von onkologischen Patienten“

The project is to be carried out as part of a doctorate in human biology at the Faculty of Medicine in the Doctoral Program Clinical Pharmacy at LMU Munich.

We are looking for a pharmacist with an interest in a doctorate in the field of clinical pharmacy and a strong interest in oncological issues.

Oncological patients are a particularly vulnerable group. In drug-based tumour therapy, supportive therapy is an important factor for effective and safe treatment. Pharmaceutical interventions can increase the safety and effectiveness of drug therapy for oncological patients. For this reason, a supportive care Pharmacist Consultation Service (scPCS) is to be established and evaluated in an interprofessional project at the LMU hospital.

Our Requirements:

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Active participation in the doctoral networks of the Doctoral Program Clinical Pharmacy as well as in scientific seminars and workshops
• Very good German (minimum requirement is CEFR-C1) and English language skills
• Completion of pharmacy studies in the second state examination with a minimum grade of "good" (2.5)
• Approbation as pharmacist and work permit in Germany
• Experience in working with oncology patients and/or in scientific work preferred
